Google testing add click sms ad extensions adwords

In recent events google announced that they are currently working on adding a click to sms ad extension on Google Adwords. Google plans to launch out this ad format that lets your potential customer to message you.

This new ad extension will be similar to call ad buttons, through which customers can directly send sms or text messages to the advertisers.

By clicking on the text messaging button user will see default messaging app which automatically fills the text message with the advertiser’s information.

Now, this is something cool and is a notable change. Google is currently testing on this feature and currently has no plan to launch it, but most probably this update will roll out till the end of this year.
